Kate Lord Schnepf is a Los Angeles based writer, director, and assistant director.
Her first short film “Play Date” premiered at the Academy award-qualifying Cleveland International Film Festival and enjoyed a festival run across the country at festivals including LA Shorts Fest, Hell’s Half Mile Film & Music Festival, and Cordillera International Film Festival.
Her pilot script "Daddy" placed in the Quarterfinals of the Screencraft Screenwriting Fellowship.
Kate's work is inspired by the sadness and silliness of being human.
